Man airlifted after being thrown from horse

The Mount Isa based LifeFlight aeromedical crew flew a man to hospital yesterday after he came off a horse.

It is believed the man in his 20s was thrown from the horse during a rodeo.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the man for a suspected broken arm.

He was flown to Mount Isa Hospital for further treatment.
