RACQ LifeFlight Rescue today airlifted two people following a collision between two vehicles in the Bundaberg region.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Bundaberg and Sunshine Coast-based helicopter crews were tasked to the scene around 8.30am.
One pilot landed a chopper on a road near the scene, while the other landed in a nearby paddock, before the aeromedical crews worked alongside Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the injured patients.
A child was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital with multiple injuries, in a serious but stable condition, while a man in his 20s was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with suspected pelvic injuries.
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter and crew service the Wide Bay-Burnett region and beyond.
