Woman airlifted after multi-vehicle crash

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a woman to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in the Lockyer Valley this afternoon.

After being tasked at 4pm the pilot landed the chopper on the road near the incident scene.

Multiple Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) officers were on scene when the helicopter landed.

A woman with chest injuries was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
