RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts man injured in quad bike crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital, after the quad bike he was riding flipped over and landed on him, while he was working on a farm this afternoon.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter landed near the scene, in the South Burnett, just after 3pm.

It’s believed the man, who is aged in his twenties, was riding the quad bike down a hill, when the incident occurred.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of a suspected broken leg.
