RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts man after motocross crash

The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has touched down at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, with a man who sustained multiple injures, after crashing his motorbike.

It’s believed the man was attempting to do a back flip, off a jump, when he lost control and fell approximately 9 metres from his bike, crash landing on the dirt.

The aeromedical team was sent to the private property, near Gatton, at 10:30 this morning, where they worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to stabilise the man for his flight.

He sustained suspected limb and back injuries.
