Seriously injured woman airlifted after fall from ladder

Bundaberg’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a seriously injured woman to hospital, after she reportedly fell from a ladder this afternoon (Tues 26th Jan).

The rescue chopper was called to the Fraser Coast region just before 3:45pm.

It’s believed the woman, aged in her 30s, had been doing home renovations, when she fell around 3 metres and landed on concrete.

A local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) team treated the patient for suspected spinal injuries, before rendezvousing with the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew, at a nearby field.

The woman was then flown to Hervey Bay Hospital, in a serious condition.
