RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts woman after two-vehicle crash

The rescue helicopter was called into action just after 5:30pm. 

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the woman at the scene and transported her to a nearby helicopter landing site.

The woman, aged in her 20s, was then airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, under the care of the LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.

She was flown in a stable condition, with multiple injuries.
