Injured man flown to hospital after vehicle rollover

The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured in a single vehicle rollover, in the Maranoa region, this morning.

The rescue chopper was called into action just after 6.30am.

The crew landed at an airport west of Roma, where they met the patient, who had been transported from the crash scene by local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics.

The man, aged in his 20s, was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and LifeFlight Critical Care Paramedic.
