The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man suffering burns, after a barbeque explosion, in the Goondiwindi region.
The rescue aircraft was sent to the scene, on a private property, just after 10.30pm last night (December 28th).
The man, aged in his 30s, was treated for burns to his face and loaded into the chopper.
He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic.
The patient was in a stable condition.
