The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has flown a woman to hospital, after she was injured by a horse, on a property in the South Burnett region.
It’s believed the woman had been washing her horse, when it kicked her in the chest and then stomped on her.
The aeromedical team was called to the scene around 1.30 this afternoon and joined local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics in treating the patient.
The woman, who is aged in her 50s, was then flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, suffering head and chest injuries.
