The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a boy to hospital, after he fell from a rope swing, this morning.
It’s believed he fell more than two and a half metres, onto hard ground.
The aircraft flew to the scene, at a campsite in the Somerset region, just after 8.30 this morning (Saturday 23 Oct).
The medical team worked with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, to treat the child for head injuries.
He was then airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Nurse.
He travelled in a stable condition.
