The chopper was called to transfer the seriously injured pair from Toowoomba Hospital just before midnight.
The young boy suffered suspected spinal injuries and the primary-school aged girl suffered suspected abdominal injuries.
It’s believed the children were involved in a car crash, south of Toowoomba, earlier last night.
Both patients were airlifted in a stable condition.
