The vessel had reportedly ran out of fuel at 4:30am and washed up onto rocks, causing it to flip.
The three occupants and their dog managed to swim ashore to safety, however, a female in her 20s suffered cuts and bruises and required airlifting by the RACQ LifeFlight helicopter to Bundaberg Base Hospital for further treatment.
The others were airlifted by another air-medical service.
All patients traveled in a stable condition.
