The vehicle was travelling on the Carnarvon Highway when it rolled several times; ejecting the boy from the car.
The Roma-based Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter was tasked to the scene around 6:30pm.
He was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
