The Gold Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the scene about 4.30pm.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue Aircrewman Ryan Purchase said the girl was being towed behind a speed boat in a water tube when she was thrown off into the water.
The teen was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Her father travelled with her in the helicopter.
This Easter, RACQ CareFlight Rescue is urging holiday-makers to stay safe on roads, in the water and when venturing out to remote areas.
