I have enjoyed a long career, over 40 years, in the medical profession working as a Medical Cytology Scientist (specialising in Cancer Diagnosis).
I have also had supervising and teaching experience in my field in Sydney, on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
I am now retired, however, I have always loved my medical career, my husband is still working as a Specialist Doctor (in pathology), so we both like the idea of continuing to support the community in a medical field.
Having a blended family of 4 children and 3 grandchildren, most of who live locally, I realise the importance of the Sunshine Coast Lifeflight rescue helicopter service, as you never know when a rescue situation may arise for my or anyone’s family on the Sunshine Coast.
