South West businesses get behind CareFlight’s Gala Ball

The belle burlesque-themed ETS CareFlight South West Gala Ball will be held at the beautiful Empire Theatre on Saturday May 31 with all funds raised going directly to the not-for-profit’s rescue operations.

RACQ CareFlight’s South West Relationship Manager Sarah Delahunty said the event is not possible without the support of local businesses, and that it was so encouraging to see them assist so readily to help this invaluable community service continue.

“The support we receive from businesses in the South West just amazes us every single year,” she said.

CareFlight’s biggest fundraiser of the year has already raised more than $65,000 from sponsorships alone.

“Generous businesses have donated time, products and services to assist in many ways to put on this event, which is fantastic,” Ms Delahunty added.

Toowoomba business Exchange Track Services (ETS) has come on board as the event’s naming rights sponsor.

Other South West businesses to get behind Toowoomba’s night of nights include Saxon Energy, Roma Transport Services, Synergy Accountants, G & K Lawson Construction, Burke Industries, Wilson’s Towing, Create Financial Solutions, Cracker Print and Paper, Bruce Robinson Diamonds, Dreamweavers Event Productions and The Toowoomba Chronicle.

RACQ CareFlight Rescue’s iconic blue and yellow helicopters flew to the aid of 619 sick and injured patients across South West Queensland last year.

After more than three decades of service, CareFlight’s biggest supporters are still the communities in rural and regional Queensland.

They not only rely on the community rescue helicopters in an emergency, but CareFlight also depends on these communities to help fund the air-medical retrieval service.
