The chopper was called to the crash, south west of Toowoomba, just after 5:30 this morning.
The road was closed to traffic, as the helicopter landed.
Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics and Queensland Fire and Emergency Service personnel were already on the scene, when the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew touched down.
The man was treated on scene, before being flown in a stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
It’s the twelfth motor vehicle accident LifeFlight Rescue crews have been tasked to in the past month.
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
