RACQ LifeFlight Rescue called to two off-road motorbike accidents in a day

The rescue helicopter was called to the accident just after 12:30pm.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics were already on scene when the aeromedical crew arrived.

The rider, aged in his 40s, was treated for a head injury and airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital, in a stable condition, under the care of the LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.

It’s the second off-road motorbike crash RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews have been called to today (Sunday 29 September).

Earlier, the Sunshine Coast chopper airlifted a motocross rider, after he was injured in a crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

The patient was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition.
