RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts truck driver after highway rollover

The rescue chopper was called to the scene just after 8:30 this morning.

Emergency services, who were already in attendance, closed the section of Bruce Highway, so the helicopter could land as close to the patient as possible.

After being extricated from the truck, the driver was stabilised by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics.

He was then flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue flight paramedic.
