RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts toddler after camp fire accident

The Toowoomba-based aeromedical crew flew to the recreational area south of Warwick where the incident happened, just after 10.30am this morning (Sun 16th).
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue team worked with QAS crew members who had responded by road.
The small child and her mother were then airlifted by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, where she is receiving further treatment.
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
