RACQ Lifeflight Rescue airlifts injured dirt bike rider

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the scene at around 12.30pm.

The injured man, aged in his twenties, was being treated by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) personnel, when the aeromedical team arrived.

The patient was transferred to the helicopter and flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition, under the care of the LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
