RACQ CareFlight Rescue attends third horsefall in three days

RACQ CareFlight Rescue was called to the property just before 11am this morning.

She was treated on scene by both the Queensland Ambulance Service and a CareFlight Doctor before being airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

It’s the third horse fall RACQ CareFlight Rescue has attended in the last three days.

On Saturday a woman in her 50s fell from her horse on a property at Mt Tamborine.

She also suffered suspected spinal injuries and was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

Earlier that day a seven year old girl suffered a suspected fractured arm in the Wide Bay region.

She was airlifted by the Bundaberg based RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew from the Mundubbera Hospital to Bundaberg Base Hospital.
