Kirsty Walker has a strong passion for education and the not-for-profit sector.
Kirsty has worked in education for the past 16 years and currently works part time as a senior teacher.
Throughout her education career, Kirsty has worked as a curriculum coordinator and has also taught in Australian Indigenous Communities and in the United Kingdom.
Kirsty is currently studying a double degree in law and criminology and justice. Alongside this, she is currently fundraising for a ‘School for Justice’ for the ‘Free a Girl’ organisation in India.
This organisation assists victims of child prostitution in India, through helping them become lawyers.
Kirsty has also served her community through her appointments as a Member of Council for the University of the Sunshine Coast and a volunteer at Hillsong Church.
