It’s often hard to know how best to commemorate a lost loved one. Making a donation to the LifeFlight Foundation in memory is a positive and lasting way of celebrating a life while helping to save many more.
There are several ways to give in memory.
Make a single donation now
If you would like to make a single donation now in memory of a loved one, you can select this option on our online donation page.
Organising a collection at a funeral
We understand losing a loved one is a difficult time for all families and we are very mindful of this when assisting with a funeral collection. We can provide in-memory donation envelopes to make the collection easier. Please call us on 1800 630 014 and we will deliver our in-memory donation envelopes to the Funeral Director as quickly as possible.
All gifts are acknowledged and tax deductible receipts for donations over $2 are sent directly to the donor if they fill out their details on the envelope.
Requesting donations instead of flowers
If you would like people to make a donation to the LifeFlight Foundation instead of flowers we suggest you make an announcement in the death notice. For example: 'Donations to the LifeFlight Foundation in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated'.
Creating an online memorial page
Create a webpage featuring a picture and memories of your loved one, where family and friends can visit, leave their own tribute messages and donate online.
Your tribute page is a dedicated place where friends and family can connect, share memories, or make a donation in memory of your loved one. It is often used in addition to in-memory donation envelopes at the funeral. You can build your In Memory Page and share it with your friends and family, who may also like to contribute and provide support. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any messages of support from your friends and family.
