Two people airlifted after caravan rollover
LifeFlight's Roma-based Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) chopper has airlifted two people, after they were seriously injured in a caravan rollover, in the Maranoa region.
The rescue helicopter was called into action around 3:30pm, yesterday (Saturday 20 July).
Upon arrival, the aeromedical team worked with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) personnel and Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers.
A man, aged in his 60s and a woman, aged in her 50s, were flown to Toowoomba Hospital, under the care of LifeFlight's Critical Care doctor and a QAS Flight Paramedic.
The patients were both transported in a critical condition.
