Two people airlifted after car rollover
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown two people to hospital, after a single vehicle rollover in the North Burnett region, this afternoon (Saturday 5 October).
It's believed the vehicle rolled several times, before landing on its roof.
Both occupants reportedly pulled themselves from the vehicle before passersby came to help.
The rescue chopper was called into action around 4pm and landed in a nearby paddock, where emergency services were already on scene.
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic assisted QAS paramedics in treating a male and a female, both aged in their fifties.
They were both airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital, in a stable condition.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters have attended five other incidents that have involved motor vehicles, motorbikes or pedestrians since Friday afternoon.
