Two patients airlifted from single vehicle rollover

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted two male patients, following a single-vehicle rollover, near Boondooma Dam, north-west of Kingaroy.

The men, aged in their late 30s, sustained multiple injuries in the crash.

RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifted both patients to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Earlier today, the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter also airlifted a man, aged in his mid-20s, following a motor vehicle accident in the Sunshine Coast region.

He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital in a stable condition.

The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
