Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts crash survivor

A seriously injured woman has been airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital, after a single vehicle rollover.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the Western Downs region just after 1:20pm.

It's believed the woman was one of two occupants of the vehicle.

She was initially treated by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics for head, chest and abdominal injuries, before being transported by road to a nearby hospital, where the rescue chopper was waiting.

LifeFlight's Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic stabilised the patient, before airlifting her to Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a serious but stable condition.
