Teenager airlifted after being thrown from buggy
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper has airlifted a teenage boy to hospital, after a buggy accident.
The aeromedical crew was called to a property in the North Burnett just before 1pm, this afternoon.
It's believed the patient had been thrown from the buggy, which then landed on his leg.
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic and other QAS paramedics at the scene, treated the patient for lower limb injuries.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew him to the Bundaberg Base Hospital, in a stable condition.
