RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts man seriously injured in truck crash

The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a truck driver, aged in his fifties, to hospital after he suffered serious head injuries in a crash. 

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) transported the man from the accident scene, in the Sunshine Coast region, to the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue base.

The rescue crew then airlifted him to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, around 12:30 this afternoon. 

He was transported in a serious, but stable condition.
