RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts injured horse rider

A man who was bucked off, then trampled by a horse in the Mt Kilcoy area this morning, has been airlifted to hospital by the Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.

The aeromedical crew was sent to a private property, to assist the injured horse rider, just after 9am this morning (Sunday).

The man, aged in his twenties, suffered injuries to his upper body, after the animal reportedly stood on him.

He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition, under the care of the RACQ LifeFlight critical care doctor and flight paramedic.
