RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlift man hit by motorbike

A motocross rider has been flown to hospital after he suffered multiple injuries in a motorbike crash, earlier today.

It's believed the man had gotten off his bike, after it became stuck on the track, when he was hit from behind by another rider.

The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the motocross track, in the somerset region, around 10:30 this morning.

The man was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
