Mt Isa RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper airlifts crash victim

The Mt Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a woman to hospital, after she was injured in a motorbike crash, this afternoon. 

The aeromedical crew were called to the scene, north-west of Mt Isa, just after 2:30pm. 

Upon arrival, the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic assessed the patient's injuries, which were on the right side of her body. 

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper flew the woman, aged in her 60s, to Mt Isa Hospital.  

She was transported in a stable condition.
