Man airlifted after outback motorbike accident
The Mt Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a man who was suffering head injuries, after coming off his motorbike on a property, east of Cloncurry yesterday.
A passing truck driver noticed the injured man and flagged down another motorist.
They put him in the back of a Landcruiser and took him to the nearest medical facility.
The rescue chopper flew the man, aged in his sixties, to Mt Isa Hospital.
He was in a stable condition.
