Injured footballer airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue

A man, aged in his early twenties, is now in the care of specialists at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, after he was injured playing football in the South West region today (Sat 30th).

The rugby player was airlifted from the Toowoomba Hospital earlier this evening.

He was under the supervision of the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Paramedic during the flight to Brisbane.

Suffering suspected neck injuries, the injured man was in a serious, but stable condition.
