Double dirt biker airlift by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlfited two patients, injured in separate dirt bike accidents near Killarney, this afternoon.
The patients, one a primary school-aged boy, the other other an adult in his early twenties, had both been participating in a weekend trail bike riding event.
The event had a team of first responders, including State Emergency Service volunteers and Queensland Ambulance Service personnel, on site.
The two patients were transported to the rescue helicopter, which had landed at the Killarney Showgrounds.
Both patients had suspected lower limb fractures and were in a stable condition, when they were flown to Toowoomba Hospital.
