Boy airlifted in a serious condition after being hit by a car

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a young boy, after he was hit by a car in the Western Downs district late yesterday. (Sat 10th Aug).

The rescue helicopter was tasked to meet  Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) officers, who had just responded to a young boy, who had been hit by a vehicle's bullbar.

LifeFlight's Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic treated the child for multiple injuries.

He was airlifted to the Queensland Children's Hospital, in a serious, but stable condition.
