Young boy injured in motorbike mishap
A young boy has been airlifted by the Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFligt Rescue helicopter following a motorbike accident on a property in the Southern Downs region.
The boy suffered serious injuries after he fell from his motorbike earlier today.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifted the boy to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
