Woman seriously injured after car smashes into train
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene of a crash, east of Bundaberg, shortly after 11:30 this morning.
A woman had been seriously injured after the car she was driving smashed into a cane train.
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) critical care paramedic on board the rescue helicopter assisted local emergency crews in treating the woman at the scene.
The critical care paramedic then travelled with the woman, via road, to Bundaberg Base Hospital.
She was transported in a serious but stable condition.
