Woman knocked out after sand board stack
A woman, aged in her forties, is recovering in Bundaberg Base Hospital after she crashed her board at the bottom of a steep sand dune at Fraser Island this afternoon.
The aeromedical team were tasked to Fraser Island shortly before 2pm.
The crew were able to land at a nearby camping ground, where they walked roughly one kilometre to meet the woman.
She'd been in the care of family and friends until the crew arrived.
She was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
