Woman injured following horse fall

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a woman, aged in her twenties, late yesterday afternoon after she was injured from falling off a horse. 

The aeromedical crew were tasked to pick the woman up from Chinchilla Hospital before flying her to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment.

She was transported in a stable condition. 

2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
