Tourist airlifted with medical condition

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted an elderly woman with a medical condition from Bustard Heads. 

The woman was apart of a tour group and was treated on the scene by the aeromedical crew. 

The woman was flown to Bundaberg hospital in a stable condition.   

2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,334 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.

LifeFlight is a community-based charity that relies on donations from the public and community support to the LifeFlight Foundation.
