Team effort to transfer motor bike accident victim

The Bundaberg based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to a trail bike accident on a property outside of Bundaberg. 

The middle aged man came off his trail bike at around 60 km/hour and was thrown approximately 10  meters.

He was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics and the aeromedical crew before the Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted him to a near by hospital. 

The Sunshine Coast based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter then transferred the man to a Brisbane hospital for further treatment. 

He was transferred in a serious but stable condition. 

Earlier today the Toowoomba based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a patient after a motor vehicle accident near Tara. 

The single female occupant sustained multiple injuries after her car collided with a tree. 

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the patient on the scene before the aeromedical crew transferred her to a near by hospital in a stable condition.
