Quad bike verse tree leaves one injured

A young man has been airlifted by the Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter following a quad bike accident on a property outside Bundaberg yesterday afternoon.

The quad bike collided with a tree, causing upper limb injuries to the young man.

He was airlifted by the Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
