Quad bike accident leaves man in hospital
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man, aged in his forties, after he was injured in a quad bike accident.
The aeromedical crew were tasked to the property, north of Monto, around 11:30 this morning.
The crew worked to stabilise the man before flying him to Bundaberg Hospital.
He was transported in a stable condition.
2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
