One airlifted after vehicle roll over
The Bundaberg based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Fraser Island for the sixth time this year after a full 4-wheel-drive rolled on the beach.
The occupants were treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics and the aeromedical crew including a young adult with upper body injuries.
The young female was then airlifted to hospital in a stable condition.
Last night the Toowoomba based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a teen from Tregony after he fell down a hill.
The teenager suffered injuries to his right leg and was transported to a Toowoomba hospital.
This weekend RACQ LifeFlight Rescue have completed five primary missions in less than 48 hours.
