Man injured following quad bike accident

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man after he was injured in a quad bike accident. 

The aeromedical crew picked the man up from Millmerran Hospital and transported him to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment. 

He was transported in a stable condition. 

2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
