Man injured following car rollover
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man after he was injured in a car crash overnight.
Paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) were first on the scene and transported the man to Goondiwindi Hospital.
The aeromedical crew then airlifted the man to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.
2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
