Man airlifted with serious injury

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a middle aged man from the Moreton Bay region this morning with an upper body injury. 

The man was flown to the Princess Alexandra hospital in a stable condition.   

2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,334 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.

LifeFlight is a community-based charity that relies on donations from the public and community support to the LifeFlight Foundation.
